About this site

This site exists to make the sowing games easy to play and easy to learn. Every rule is written out in plain language, every board is drawn from scratch, and every game runs in your browser with nothing to install.

The games themselves are public domain: their rules, boards and historical names belong to everybody. What is original here is the implementation — the engine, the artwork, the writing and the design.

Kalah and Oware are playable now. Congkak, Toguz Korgool, Pallanguzhi, Bao and Omweso are being built, in that order.
